ATTENTION!!!
WE NEED EVERYONE'S HELP!!!

We're in the final stage of our quest.  LAFCO has provided us with a Hearing Notice Agenda, but has not included the Staff Report which will indicate their findings and recommendations.  LAFCO advises that the Staff Report will be mailed on February 10, 2010, and will be posted on their website on February 11, 2010.  The Coalition will post the Staff Report and notify everyone as quickly as feasible.

In the meantime, we need everyone to e-mail, write letters, FAX, and make phone calls to the LAFCO Commissioners.  We also need you to make a copy of these addresses and give them to your neighbor, encouraging them to help too.  We're almost done ... LET'S MAKE IT 3 FOR 3!!!!

The message is simple.  Here's a sample:

Dear Commissioner _____________:

On September 1, 2009, the Town of Yucca Valley Council voted 4-0-1, Mayor Frank Luckino recusing himself, to withdraw its application to include unincorporated Yucca Mesa in its sphere of influence.

LAFCO #3134 will be before you on February 17, 2010.  I am writing to urge you to honor the Town Council of Yucca Valley's vote and not reverse their decision or the desire of the residents of the Community of Yucca Mesa to not become part of Yucca Valley or in their Sphere of Influence.

Respectfully,

The addresses are:
