Who We Are
The
Stop Yucca Mesa Annexation Coalition was organized in December 2008 in response
to the Town of Yucca Valley's threat to take over Yucca Mesa's land and water by
applying for a Sphere of Influence to be followed by Annexation through the
Local
Agency Formation Commission for San Bernardino County (LAFCO).
Our
Mission:
To
preserve the economic and rural environment of Yucca Mesa against the Town
of Yucca Valley's exploitation of Yucca's Mesa's land, water, and services deemed not in
the best interest of the residents, landowners, voters, and taxpayers.
