YUCCA MESA NEEDS A MAC!!

As you know, a Yucca Mesa Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) is important to our community. It will help to fend off future attempts by the Town of Yucca Valley to either place a Sphere of Influence (SOI) or annex Yucca Mesa. Joshua Tree's MAC has been instrumental in keeping the Town of Yucca Valley from annexing them. We need to do the same.

Once again, as throughout this campaign, your Coalition depends upon and needs your help to let Supervisor Neil Derry know that Yucca Mesa wants a MAC for Yucca Mesa.

Please send letters, FAXES, and e-mails and make phone calls to Supervisor Derry. Your message should be:

“As a citizen of the Yucca Mesa Community I support and request the formation of a Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) for the Yucca Mesa Community. The Council will provide an opportunity for citizen involvement in reviewing community needs.”
