BIGHORN'S PROPOSED RECHARGE POND LOCATION THREATENED BY FUTURE
EARTHQUAKES?
Note the general close proximity between where Bighorn wants to put its “spreading pond” (GPS position 34º 14’ N, 116º 24 W – Google Maps) and the approximate location of the epicenter of the 1992 Landers Earthquake (GPS position 34º 13’ N, 116º 26 W – Google Maps). They are very close…possibly within 2 miles. Also note the numerous other faults.
